GMGH's Best Crypto Posts of 2017

With 2017 just over, I thought I'd dig up some old posts which I still find relevant about crypto which should answer the questions that a lot of people have and that I hear all the time.

Is Bitcoin in a bubble? Am I too late?

What if I invested in Bitcoin for the last 7 years?

Why is blockchain important and will be massive

Terminology clarifications

Why crypto will make me richer than bankers

The "fairness" on why early adopters should and will be insanely rich

Analogue Bitcoin vs Digital Gold

My Crypto Starter Pack v2.0

Why ICOs are here to stay and are not all that bad

Why I sold everything and went all-in Crypto

The best Bitcoin transaction of 2017

Bitcoin crashed, crashes, and will keep on crashing - and that's okay

How I see crypto panning out in the future

Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy all these resources. After you've read through all of them and if you still have questions, please feel free to drop them in the comments and I'll try to answer it as I get notified about comments.

  1. Hi there!

what do you think of Flixxo?

They are using the idea of video / content distribution and having people to pay using their flixx tokens. No mining involved.

Would that mean that it is dependent on how successful the platform for streaming is?

    1. Hi Anon,

I came across Flixxio a while ago.

The idea is very interesting, but I think it is going to be very very hard to get people to change the way that they consume content now.

The BAT way with their browser isnt too bad actually.

I have not much opinion on Flixxio other than that I think it is very ambitious, but has a lot of hurdles to overcome. I would not put my own money in it

    1. Hi Anon,

Ledger support for XMR is being developed right now. Best to just keep it on a paper wallet, or just leave it on the exchange in the meantime if its too much of a hassle.

  4. Hi GMGH

I have been reading your blog a few weeks back. Thank you for sharing so much information and your thoughts on this crazy new world. And congrats on your profits.

I have just started investing myself and so far so good. I wasn't able to get in as early as everyone else as it took almost a month to get all my accounts verified. Oh well, better late than never.

I wasn't able to get in as early as you did on XRB. Where do you see it going? And what is your opinion on tron?

And if you don't mind sharing, what do you currently hold and advise us noobs to stay away from long term (I know you don't like Ripple, I currently hold some of it short term and have exited some already). There's just so much more reading to do.

Thanks again for this great blog. And good luck to both of us. :D

    1. Hi MK,

No problem, just sharing my thoughts and writing it down in case it'd be useful to other people.

I can see XRB overtaking a lot of the gen 1 blockchains if it can prove to be resilient to attacks and can become more decentralized in terms of node delegation. It's an interesting one to watch, for sure.

I don't have an opinion on Tron other than that I did not like how the ICO was run. I don't really understand it now either, but I'm focusing on the things that I do understand and that's enough work already!

I am working on a post exactly about that next week. It's okay to hold XRP as a trader, but from a fundamental perspective I can't even begin.

Good luck to you and stay safe!
